I’m right there with many people that have seen Sarah Palin’s crosshair map in thinking there is a connection, but I think we need to step back and let the investigation proceed a little further before we grab our pitch forks and torches. That being said, if nothing else comes from this tragedy I hope that as a political body this nation can learn to stop treating all discussions as zero sum struggles with apocalyptic consequences.
I just want to have in depth discussions of politics, religion, and sex--you know, all those things "they" say you shouldn't talk about in "polite" society. I'll be expressing opinions here. If you have a problem with that, feel free to move on. If I claim something, I try to back it up with facts. If you want to contest those facts, feel free.
